Before you start to think of buying a rabbit, you should probably know what you need to keep a rabbit and proper housing!
Housing
You will need a big spacious cage at least 2x2 and something for them to chew on, because bunnies teeth never stop growing. I use Apple tree sticks and my bunnies seems to love to chew on them! And if you were planning on litter training your rabbit, I would suggest buying a litter pan with wire on the bottom so the poop and pee falls through to the bottom, this is not only good for the bunny but it also makes for easy cleaning. Your bunny might like a house to get cover from sense they are a pray animal and like to take shelter. Also bunnies will get a little bored when you are not playing with them so I also suggest getting them a toy or something for them to keep entertained!
Food and water
Bunnies need plenty of water and food. If they don't have access to it at all times sickness and digestive problems can occur. For water you can use a water bottle or a bowl. Which ever you and your bunny prefers. If you go with a water bottle I would get the ones were you can flip up a flap at the top and fill it up from there or if you want a bowl I would get a heavy pottery dish so the bunny can't knock it over. I use the bowls were they clip on the side of the cage so they can't pee or poop in it or knock if over. Grain, you can buy the grain you prefer and is best for you, but when you purchase your bunny ask the breeder what type of feed they had before and then you can slowly mix the old food and yours together so the rabbit gets used to your food! You can use a bowl for the grain or a hay/grain feeder. Hay, hay is a VERY important part on your bunnies diet. A bunny should eat its own body weight of hay a day! You can use a hay feeder or just put it on the rabbits floor of the cage.
